koda, on the other hand decided to prove how smart he is by peeing on the bathroom floor, rather than bark to go outside in the middle of the night! thank you, koda for that. it was so nice to walk on that pee puddle at the base of the toilet at 5am! i love you anyway you silly dog.

why does she decide to bring a camera today? the dog park is an autumn muddy playground now! ruff ruff! you might have to click on the photo to see it, because it was twilight when i was there. can't a dog pee in peace?

well my dear dog buddy, life has been good at the dog park for you. you have learned to become social with other dogs. at 5 years old that is a big deal, especially for you the one who i brought home because your dog pack pal was having a psychotic break and needed you more than you will ever know. you ended up being my lifeline, dear buddy.

you went to the psych hospital in 2007 and today i went there without you and we went to the dog park afterward.

pets are forever friends and companions and i wanted to make note of that today. here's a photo of you running down the backyard woods path. so fast the photo is blurred.

i'ma stinker

after peeing on the hose, i wandered out to the entry of the woods and sat like a statue. steph was trying to go to the market and wanted to bring me in the house. i know these things, so after she took this pic, i laid down flat and wasn't going to budge. steph had just put clean bedding on the bed. she had no idea i was planning my next move from the woods. she went into the house and i barked to come inside. running past her, i went straight for the bed, pine needles, dirt and tree sap all on the bed, and then when she found me i made sure to use my manly growl voice to tell her who's boss of the bed. sammy the cat was not impressed with me interrupting her nap time. ah, another day in the life of koda!

doggie days of summer

woof woof! friends! i've been busy chasing bunnies in the backyard, they run circles around me in the brambles, i've never been able to keep track of where they went. i went to the dog park, arf arf! so fun being with dog buddies, oh and i love watermelon at the end of the day! and i've discovered that i love to lay in front of a big fan with the wind in my face i can almost imagine it's snowing outside! have a happy day!
